The Island’s unofficial national dish: Chips, cheese & gravy!

Douglas

Yummy bar meals

Jaks – on the prom, restaurant upstairs, good bar to watch the footy in downstairs.

The Courthouse – a few minutes walk from town, stylish bar/restaurant upstairs, nightclub downstairs on Friday/Saturday

The Bridge – a nice newly renovated pub on the Quay

HQ – Just off Central Promenade, nice food at reasonable prices

Terminus Tavern – On the opposite side of the Promenade to the Sea Terminal, next to the horse and electric trams terminus.

A bit more exotic

Italian

Paparazzi – A popular Italian restaurant on the promenade and where Adam had his first job (luckily they didn’t go bust)

French

L’Expérience – situated at the far end of Douglas Prom. Délicieux.

Chinese

The Majestic – A few minutes outside Douglas in Onchan this Chinese restaurant overlooks Douglas Bay

Indian

Taste of India – On the promenade across from the Villa Marina you can find this tasty Indian
